We recognise that effective claims negotiation is central to our clients’ requirements and the provision of a professional claims service is key. To this end, dedicated claims personnel, comprising more than 10% of NMB’s headcount, are integrated within NMB’s operating divisions where they work alongside and as part of the account handling teams. This allows our claims staff to deliver a focused claims service in the wider context of the client’s account. Rather than operating in isolation, they can draw on the knowledge of their placing colleagues when addressing complex claims.

This system is overlayed with a business-wide claims reporting structure that leads straight to NMB’s Managing Director. This enables all our expertise and resources to be called upon effectively when major losses occur.
